With over 1,600 indirect tax experts in 118 countries worldwide, this Big 4 firm enjoys strong relationships with global tax authorities and policy makers. Their VAT specialists sit within specific industry groups allowing them to grow their skills towards a broad, yet defined market sector. Due to continued expansion, the Manchester office now seeks an experienced Indirect Tax Senior who can assist in the delivery of bespoke assignments to its very broad client base consisting of large PLC’s, middle market companies, and public sector organisations, as well as working alongside M&A and Business Recovery Services. Candidates are likely to be working either within a national accountancy firm, a law firm or in the public sector; however the firm will consider candidates who have “in-house” experience. In addition, you will need to demonstrate strong analytical skills, a flair for negotiating with VAT authorities, good technical knowledge and a relevant professional qualification.
