Responsible for providing a comprehensive VAT advisory service to all business clients to minimise their VAT liabilities and compliance issues and to identify tax planning opportunities for clients and prospective clients

В•liaises directly with clients, referrers and intermediaries regarding compliance work, carrying out reviews on site where relevant

В•responsible for preparing and agreeing budgets with partners and clients and ensuring these are met and within agreed timescales
Proven technical skills
Have a minimum of 7 years post qualification experience
Experience of using microsoft packages
Specialist knowledge including partial exemption methods and international VAT matters, including registration
Proven ability to generate VAT solutions for clients and to generate new business in a professional services firm
Be technically excellent and up to date
Possess excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Previous experience in indirect taxes within HMRC and or industry
Previous experience of managing a team
