This VAT / Indirect Tax Manager position sits within the Financial Services (FS) Tax practice of a Big 4 Accounting Firm, the role is a permanent full time position based in London.
You will be responsible for contributing to the efficient and successful delivery of tax services to the client by building and maintaining tax relationships with clients. You will have a strong ability to identify opportunities and manage client’s expectations. You will have proven experience in delivering successful tax projects, ensuring technical excellence with a practical and business driven approach.
You will have the capacity to integrate within new teams effectively, be approachable and have the capability to produce a quality output for the day to day delivery of client liaison.
Candidates applying for this position must have proven experience within VAT / indirect tax, gained within the profession or inside an in-house indirect tax environment ideally within a financial services environment. You will be an excellent communicator and have the ability to identify areas of risk, carry out effective review and know when to escalate queries accordingly.
Though relevant financial services industry experience is ideal, it is not essential. You will be professionally qualified ideally with an ACCA/ACA/CTA qualification or equivalent. As this is a manager level position you will be required to look after a small team, therefore management and leadership experience in highly desired.
