UK Tax Manager

An incredibly exciting opportunity has arisen at the UK business of our client. This role will see you look after all aspects of UK Tax. The business itself needs to be discussed to do justice to its complexity and nature. Please apply to learn more

The role:

* Responsible for acquisitions, joint ventures and dispositions
* Post-acquisition integration and corporate restructuring
* UK tax aspects of financing and repatriation of earnings
* Coordinate with regional VAT and Customs UK issues
* Interpretation and advise on tax legislation and or other tax law changes
* Handling UK tax accounting issues
* Primary advisor for UK tax with respect to transfer pricing, permanent establishment, and VAT and customs matters
* management of tax return preparation process and HMRC

Person:
* Professional qualification in Accounting
* Demonstrable experience in direct and indirect tax in practice or multi-national company
* Knowledge of international tax treaties and principles
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Team player
* Ability to work independently in large decentralised teams
* Knowledge of US GAAP accounting desired but not essential
