My client is a leading structured finance and alternative investment firm that has completed transaction in excess of ВЈ4bn. They operate as part of a privately owned investment group that structure, implement and raise funds for innovative alternative investment products with a strong focus on enhancing returns and mitigating downside risk.
They are actively structuring new investment opportunities in a variety of asset classes including transport, media, real estate, life sciences and renewable energy. A need has therefore arisen for a Tax Investigations Manager to join the team and manage relationships with investors, external advisors and HMRC in respect of all tax investigation matters whilst also maintaining HMRC correspondence in relation to complex investment structures.
The quality of work is rare at this level within a financial services organisation and the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to contribute to product development and assist the product origination team in getting investments to market.
This role would suit an individual with experience in drafting responses & dealing with tax authorities as well of experience of anti-avoidance. Interested parties form similar organisations or accountancy and legal tax investigations teams are encouraged to apply.
