| Description: | This is an immediate contract requirement in the tax department of a leading investment bank. The role will initially last 3 months, but could continue on past this date. They are looking to receive CVs of immediately available candidates now with a view to interviewing this week and next and having a candidate start before the end of August.
The role will include:
* Statutory accounts review under a number of GAAPs
* Quarterly US tax reporting (ETR calculations)
* UK corporation tax compliance, including preparation of tax returns using Alphatax
* Tax payment calculation and processing
* Corporate tax risk management including payment, return and audit tracking
* Assistance with group relief issues
* Various other tax compliance matters across the EMEA region

The candidate should be a strong team player, have good interpersonal & communication skills, strong time management/organisational skills and a can do attitude. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel is also required. They should have a minimum of a full ACA or CTA qualification and experience working in UK corporation tax at a reputable accountancy firm or within industry.
Experience of 'Alphatax' corporate tax software or other corporate tax software is desirable but not a necessity.
