Job Description
As the Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for
* GAAP/Stat financial reporting and analysis of investment taxes (including stocks, bonds, mortgages, partnerships, derivatives, and other financial instruments)
* Partnering with Business Units to implement, support and monitor tax planning strategies and transactions
* Federal Tax Returns preparation and review
* Recommendations of improvements to financial reporting and compliance processes
* Participating in building the investment unit's capability to produce management reports and comparative analysis
Required Skills
* 3- 8 years of corporate Tax experience in public accounting or public companies in financial services sector
* BA in Accounting
* Outgoing, personable, and well-spoken
* Able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Desired Skills
* Life insurance experience
