Our client, a leading international company is seeking a VAT Analyst to join their team. Our client has numerous offices throughout The Netherlands and worldwide.
As VAT analyst you will support, analyst direct and indirect taxes for different entities.
As VAT Analyst your duties include:
-Support the quarterly account reconciliation process for VAT & CIT
-Support the completion of the FAS 109 schedules
-Analyse, reconcile and support VAT and CIT
-Control the VAT reporting process in liaison with other business units
-VAT and CIT compliance and reporting
-Prepare VAT and CIT tax returns and audits
-Support month end closings
-VAT and CIT Compliance
- Correct VAT treatment and advice in reorganizations
-Point of contact with tax authorities with audit preparations
-Make ERP system improvements from a tax perspective, see any weaknesses on the system and propose/drive and pitch solutions to management in a pro-active manner.
The successful VAT analyst must be a team player meet the following:
-Bachelor Degree in related field/university degree in Law/economics/finance or tax
-An Accounting degree or certification a plus
-1-4 years experience in VAT, CIT or Tax
-Tax accounting experience
-Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels
-Able to influence and communicate clearly
-Passionate and no 9-5 mentality
-You must be able to legally work in The Netherlands
-Excellent knowledge or understanding of ERP Systems, including tax engine(s)
