An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stamp Duty Senior Manager to join our client, a leading global Chartered Accountancy firm.
A leader in the local market, our clients tax team in Australia is significant and increasing confidence and transactions has lead to this vacancy.
As a Stamp Duty specialist you will lead a team assisting clients with the following:
- Identification of stamp duty issues and solutions in relation to mergers, acquisitions, takeovers, demergers, public floats, corporate reorganisations and rationalisations, due diligence and liquidations.
- Advice on corporate reconstruction applications and lodgements to the revenue authorities
- Research of stamp duty legislation and case law.
The sucessful candidate will receive assistance with relocation and visas as well as excellent opportunities for growth and development within this exciting company and market.
It is expected that you will be a suitably qualified solicitor / CTA or CA with at least 5 years experience in taxation including 3 years Stamp Duty.
