Our client is one of Australia's leading providers of financial services. The Melbourne office is looking to hire a Senior Tax Manager with a technical background with Self Managed Superannuation Funds. This is a rare opportunity to join the country's leading advisors, dealing with a premium client group across a range of industries.
Role
You will manage a team and provide advice to high net worth individuals and large privately held groups in respect of:
* Technical tax and SMSF issues;
* Restructuring of existing groups;
* Estate planning;
* SMSF Audit issues;
* Taxation implications of buying and selling businesses and assets;
* Recent changes to legislation and changes to the SMSF industry;
* Tax Audits / Tax Controversy;
Experience & Qualifications
* You are likely working within a boutique firm with a strong HNWI client base, a mid tier accounting firm, or within a private client focused group within a large chartered environment.
* You will have experience with SMSFs.
* Preferably RG146 qualified (although not necessary)
* At least 6 years experience.
