We have immediate openings for individuals at the Experienced Associate/Technician level to join our Integrated Service Solutions (ISS), the compliance based segment of our Private Company Services (PCS) Group in Winnipeg. This team player will be responsible for providing income tax and accounting services to corporate and personal tax clients through the production of accounting records, financial statements, income tax returns, T3, T4, T5 and other related correspondence for our clients. The ISS practice at PwC offers many different career paths and opportunities, should you desire career mobility.
Responsibilities:
Providing assistance to clients with general bookkeeping and government reporting;
Preparing complete working paper files for Review and Notice to Reader files;
Preparing financial statements;
Preparing corporate tax returns, T4 and T5 returns;
Providing assistance to clients with payroll, GST and PST compliance; and
Providing accounting functions for clients.
Years Experience Required:
Minimum three years' experience in a similar role working in Public Practice or Industry
Education:
Enrollment in a recognized accounting designation program is not mandatory, but would be an asset. An accounting diploma would be desirable, but not required depending on experience.
Job Requirements Essential:
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel software
Knowledge of Caseware software an asset
Experience with personal and corporate income tax
Efficiency, willingness to learn and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
Effective communication skills.
