Our client is a Big 4 firm with a Private Tax Services team in London, advising high net worth individuals who are active in business related areas. You will be given the opportunity to build and maintain tax relationships with high levels of clients such as entrepreneurs, partners in professional partnerships and senior executives. Many of the individuals are non-UK domiciled and require advice across various jurisdictions.
The role:
- Heavily advisory based
- To contribute to the efficient and successful delivery of tax services to the client
- Contribute to winning new work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients
- Identifying opportunities and managing expectations
- Research complex technical issues
- Manage the successful delivery of tax projects
- Ensuring technical excellence and practice/business driven approach taken
- Key member of one of the client service groups providing full tax services to a client portfolio
In order to be considered, you should have the following:
- Excellent team player, ability to integrate with new teams quickly
- Client focused and commercially aware
- Ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically
- Strong technical skills
- Ability to build strong client relationships
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to identify areas of risk
- Good project management skills
- ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA or
- Tax Inspectors with full Technical Course or Law qualification
- Prepared to study for CTA qualification (if not already achieved)
