Partnership Accounting Manager - Market Leading Practice - 45k-55k
A leading Accountancy and Advisory Practice is looking to add a Finance Manager to the Partner Finance team with wide-ranging responsibilities. You must have a desire to work with senior level members of a world renowned practice firm and form part of a team integral to the effective running of the UK business.
You will be responsible for the financial control of all Partner transactions and you will be expected to work closely with the Finance Director and CFO to continuously improve the Partner Finance function. As Manager you will be directly responsible for approving daily transactions including payments to Partners, tax payments and the partner car scheme. Calculation of quarterly profit distributions, including tax retentions and control of capital requirements is essential. You will be expected to play a major role in the year end Partner performance management process as well as support the accountants with the reconciliation of general ledger balances at Month, Quarter and Year ends.
You must be able to deal confidently with partners, demonstrating strong commercial and financial acumen including on taxation matters. You must be proactive in your approach to work and have the ability to work to strict deadlines and thrive under pressure. You must be a confident user of Excel with the ability to manipulate and interrogate large sets of data. Ideally you will be a qualified accountant or tax accountant and have extensive experience in a financial environment, ideally with experience of LLP Partnership finance, including Taxation.
