The main purpose of the role is to oversee tax compliance issues within the Tax team. The role holder will be responsible for resolving issues arising out of tax audit and filing timetabling changes with Operating units and, where necessary, acting as a final point of reference and support for Tax Managers to resolve outstanding tax accounting and tax technical issues.
The role encompasses responsibility for all aspects of UK corporate tax compliance, including but not limited to tax disclosure in UK statutory accounts, group reporting, computations and correspondence with HMRC, Group compliance issues, and various due diligence and project requirements as they arise. The Group Senior Tax Compliance Manager will sign off returns made to HMRC.
