This leading independent accountancy firm in North Yorkshire has a rapidly expanding client base. They are therefore looking for a corporate tax assistant manager/junior manager to be part of the next stage of growth for the tax team. Working to the partners and senior management team you will liaise with the audit department and help manage the compliance and tax reporting for the practice as well as assisting with project work such as calculating R&D claims, planning around the growth/sale of a business, capital allowances work and dividend ‘v’ salary calculations. You will also be actively involved in training and managing the junior team member.
It is likely that you will have a professional qualification (ACCA, ATT, ACA, CTA or equivalent), however the partners are also keen to see good candidates who are qualified by experience. You should be excited by the idea of working with OMB and SME clients and helping them to grow and shape their businesses. This role would suit an experienced assistant tax manager or corporate tax senior who is looking for a step up to manager in the short to medium term. You will either be in a corporate or mixed tax role at the moment. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly firm at an early stage in its growth.
