It is essential that you possess a sound knowledge of UK corporate taxation, an awareness of broad international tax issues and the ability to prepare tax computations from basic data using computer packages. Being the second most senior person in the team, you will be involved in significant advisory projects and so experience of advisory work is beneficial.
Ideally you will be ATT, ACA or CTA qualified, either at Senior or Assistant Manager grade, and you must possess previous relevant experience gained from within a professional firm and now be looking to develop a career in this field. Ideally you will have experience of managing a small team.
